Nurse

My name is Cindy Colson and I have been an RN for 18 years. This is my 5th year as a school nurse. I look forward to helping your child stay healthy and able to be here at school ready to learn. Please feel free to contact the Health Office if your child has health issues that may be contributing to absences, for assistance with management of illness here at school or immunization guidance. We can also help you to obtain glasses  through Lion’s Club if you have no vision insurance.  We do have phone numbers and clinic information for immunizations.

We look forward to working with you in whatever capacity is needed to give your child the best shot at success.

Thanks,

Cindy Colson RN

OTC consent form

OTC form

This is the form that needs to accompany any OTC (Over The Counter) medication that is brought to school by the parent in a sealed box with the child’s name and birthdate on the package. We may only give 3 days in a row without your child seeing a doctor. Rarely would OTC medication be needed here at school. We encourage student’s to drink some extra water, take a little rest, eat some food. Most of the time this fixes the problem. OTC medication might be needed if a child had dental work done, has sustained an injury, etc. but that would only be for a limited time.
